Muddled drinks !

Muddled drinks will give a nice texture to your drinks, just give them a syrup kick for flavour consistency.

Muddled drinks have always been a must on a menu : they have a good visual impact on the customer, they bring texture to the drink but sometimes due to the lack of consistency of the fruits quaility (due to supply or low season), the taste can be deceptive. Kick the aromas of the herbs or fruits you will be muddling by using the matching MONIN flavour (Le Fruit or syrup).

This is particularly true for any herb you would be using in a recipe so do not forget to use our line of "herbal" flavours such as : Basil, Rosemary, Mojito Mint, Tarragon, Sweet Woodruff syrups.

Featured recipe:

Strawberry Basil Lemonade

10 ml MONIN Basil syrup
20 ml MONIN Rantcho concentrate
5 strawberries
4 basil leaves
Top with soda water

Muddle the fruits and herbs with MONIN products. Add ice cubes and top with soda water. Stir and serve

Garnish with strawberries and basil.
